We are looking for a highly organized, detail orientated, and flexible Shipping & Receiving Coordinator able to run point on all things Shipping at Eden.

Should your BOLs, Commercial Invoices, and Manifests be framed as examples of perfect paperwork by US Customs? Do you wake up eager to call BS on freight carriers’ weight surcharges? We are a rapidly growing manufacture of industrial filtration products with a strong need for a logistics ninja as we scale operations nationwide and beyond. You will have responsibility for multiple Eden warehouse facilities in Austin, TX and all outbound commercial freight, outbound parcel shipments, as well as inbound logistics for both domestic and foreign procured components.

This job will provide personal growth, exposure to new industrial sectors, and ownership over scaling Eden’s shipping operations in a high growth environment.

Job Summary & Key Accountabilities

Lead shipping and receiving operations including managing a variety of 3rd party transportation providers and carriers. In addition, schedule inbound transportation for components and raw goods used at Eden. Includes loading and unloading trucks, checking counts and types of materials, packaging, item fulfillment and material handler oversight.

Prepares orders by picking and processing sales orders for stock items; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in designated delivery area that are ready for shipment. Process outbound orders through use of parcel and freight shippers' and Eden’s ERP software systems. Responsible for getting items sorted, counted, labeled, and placed on pallets, racks shelves or bins according to organizational standards and policies. Prepare a variety of parcels and associated paperwork for mailing and outbound deliveries.

Create standards and policies to ensure safe and undamaged delivery of merchandise, materials, and supplies. Maintains inventory controls by performing stock counts, verifying materials distributed to outbound orders and checking against the Sales Order for correct shipment amounts.

Maintains safe and clean warehouse environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Sets a good example of safety for other shop and warehouse personnel. Comfortable operating a forklift and material handling equipment use in warehouse operations on occasion.

Facilitate “Will Call” orders by contacting freight companies and managing all transport documentation to include BOL, commercial Invoice, shipping manifest, etc. Manage all domestic and international shipments for inbound and outbound freight to include RFQ from carriers, freight carrier selection and scheduling. Track all shipping errors, file freight claims, and provide Shipping Errors Report to management monthly.

Provide data and operational metrics for use in operational improvement projects. Support RMA shipments at cost effective rates and proactively communicate with quality and production teams on inbound inspection needs.

Physical Demands:

This position requires regular use of hands and limbs to handle and reach physical objects on industrial racking both from the ground as well as from OSHA approved ladders and mechanical/hydraulic lifts.

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. with mechanical assistance such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. On your feet most of the day.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.


Experience

2-3 years warehouse management and/or shipping experience preferred.

Working knowledge of shipping tools/portals such as UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager, Ship Station, and label makers.

ERP/MRP Software such as NetSuite .

Residential Pool & Spa familiarity helpful but not required.

Formal Education

High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
